Leland Hao

Hello there! My name is Leland and welcome to my super awesome website. I'm an actor, singer, dancer, and fight choreographer working out of New York City and Washington D.C. I'm originally from Northern Virginia and I graduated from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Acting.

 

As a youth I tried many activities before I found the one I loved. I partook in soccer, tumbling, wrestling, chess, squash, and fencing all before the age of twelve. And after coming to the stunning realization that none of those things were for me, my mom encouraged (forced) me to audition for a local production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. And after Dodo Bird-ing it up, I realized I had found the thing I love and now I perform as much as possible. I act for the the screen and stage and dabble in stunt work, fight choreography, singing, and hip hop dancing. I recently finished a tour with TheaterWorksUSA and I'm represented by Entertainment Lab.

When I'm not performing, I'm a licensed bartender and I love nerding out about Lord of the Rings and dinosaurs, as well as practicing my amateur juggling skills, expanding my replica sword collection and learning new recipes to cook at home. My favorite things to make are donuts, bagels, and fried chicken. Thanks for stopping by!
